Jonas Dahlberg was born in Uddevalla, Sweden, 1970. He has exhibited widely in many prestigious contexts. Recent solo exhibitions include "Three Rooms," Galerie Nordenhake, Stockholm (2008), "The First Minute Of The Rest Of A Movie," (with Jan Mancuska), Bonner Kunstverein, Bonn, and Neue Kunsthalle St. Gallen (2006), "Invisible cities," Moderna Museet, Stockholm (2005), Centre pour l'image contemporain Saint-Gervais Genève, Geneva (2003), Magazzino d'Arte Moderna, Rome (2003), "One Way Street," IASPIS, Stockholm (2002), and Index The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation, Stockholm (2001). His group exhibitions include presentations at the Artsonje Center, Seoul (2007), 1st Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art (2007), Santa Monica Museum of Art, California (2006), Frac Bourgogne, Dijon (2005), and Manifesta 4 (2002). Dahlberg's residencies include the ISCP in New York in 2004/05 and IASPIS in Stockholm 2000/2001. He currently lives and works in Stockholm.
