Gunilla Klingberg was born in 1966 and lives and works in Stockholm. Her most recent solo exhibition was at Bonniers Konsthall, Stockholm, in 2009, also "Cosmic Matter," at Galerie Nordenhake, Berlin, in 2008, and coincided with the publication of a monograph of the same title produced by IASPIS and Propexus. Her solo exhibitions include presentations in Stade (2005), at KIASMA Museum of Contemporary Art, Studio K, Helsinki (2004), Kunstverein Langenhagen (2003) and Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2002). Recent group exhibitions (2010) are “Philagraphika, The Graphic Unconscious”, in Philadelphia, USA, “Biennale for International Light Art”, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and “Expo 2010”, Statens Konstråd, Shanghai, China. She participated in "Departure: Further Explorations in Print," Lincolnshire (2008), the 10th Istanbul Biennale (with a solo project - 2007), "Altered, Stitched and Gathered," P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center/MoMA, New York (2006), the "Moderna Exhibition" at Moderna Museet, Stockholm (2006) and "What Business Are You In," Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, USA (2005).
