Christian Andersson was born in 1973 in Stockholm, Sweden, and currently lives and works in Malmö. Recent solo exhibitions include "I Did It Just the Same," Galerie Nordenhake, Stockholm (2008); "A Whiter Shade Of Pale," Studio A, Otterndorf (2005); "1:1," Skånes Konstförening, Malmö (2004); "Blind Spot," Ping Pong Gallery, Malmö (2003); and "F for Fake," The Suitable Gallery, Chicago (2002). Andersson has also participated in many group shows at venues including the Moderna Museet, Stockholm (2006), Smart Project Space, Amsterdam (2005), Swiss Institute/Grey Art Gallery, New York (2005); Sala Rekalde, Bilbao (2005), and The Tramway, Glasgow (2002). In 2004 he received a grant from the Edstrandska Foundation and participated in the concurrent exhibition at Malmö Konsthall, Malmö.
